Colton started on the front foot but didnt make the most of their early possession and chances until the 32nd minute. Jono Goodwin finished off a good moved by Colton which was assisted by Josh Lacey. After that the game in truth was scrappy all the way to half time.
After the break Colton were still pushing and probing whilst staying strong at the back to keep any rare Beeston attacks at bay. 18 minutes into the second half Jono Goodwin again found the net with a lovely finished to make the game 0-2. Colton fell into the "comfortable" camp and Beeston had other ideas however, and they hit back on the counter within 5 mins to close the gap to 1 goal.
Colton didnt dwell on that for long because good play down the left involving Charlie Green and Lewis Rothery set Jono Goodwin up for his 3rd of the game. A powerful finish leaving the GK with no chance. The fourth goal came a couple of minutes later another great through ball by the hardworking Lee Mitchell set Jono Goodwin free down the left, he decided to hit it early, it cannoned off the cross bar and crossed the line before being headed in by Adam Green - just to make sure! Confident that those arguements will continue, whos goals?
Colton finished the game off with another good passing move which left Jono Goodwin with the chance to get another goal, but he decided to pass it square to Callum Deville who finished it with a powerful shot leaving the keeper stranded . A solid performance all around.
