Preseason Friendly: Colton AFC 6 - 1 North Leeds Res (21.08.18)

Another preseason friendly finished, and the first win of our campaign. The hard work, commitment and team efforts all coming to fruition. It was a strong performance from the Colton team , with new and old faces involved, some players were subject to a test in unfamiliar position, but it seemed to have a positive effect. The team were creative , fast and strong, playing good football throughout. North Leeds to their credit were organised and powerful not losing their commitment to the cause despite being behind.

Although our performance was strong and professional we will always be looking to make improvements to our game. With the run up to the season shortening every day, now is the time to focus on our weaknesses, improve in these areas and hit the ground running into the new season. There are more friendlies to come, places in the squads to be grabbed and time for some fine tuning. Best of luck to North Leeds Reserves for the coming season. Bring on the next line up of fixtures.
