Colton AFC Res 2 - 0 Shire Academics Res (19.01.19)

Another good win for the Reserves! 2019 proving to be a successful year to date, plenty more hard matches to come but gives some real grounding to the work that has been put in by Manager and Players.

The first 15 minute were a scrappy occasion but never the less Colton were able to grab a goal through Phil Woofit who pounced on a short back pass and slotted it home past the keeper.

After this some good football was being played but Colton were unable to extend their lead, which had many of the supporters on edge.

The second half was much more of the same in truth, but Albi was able to get another for Colton, scoring from a corner 2 - 0 up. The defense worked hard to ensure the first clean sheet of the season and overall the performance was good. This now means the Colton AFC Res team hit 5 wins on the bounce.

Lets hope this run of form continues :)
