Colton AFC Res 3 - 1 Drighlinton Res (16.02.19)

A lovely day for a game of football saw Colton AFC Res waiting for the referee to turn up. The referee was a no show, it was down to one of the spectators to step up and control the game. Thanks to Glen for taking this responsibility having only come to watch.

It was a good first half for both teams, with the half time score at 1 - 1 both teams had played in parts good football and taken chances well.

In the second half Colton took the lead after a well struck goal from Joel, the lead was deserved, Colton just edging into the came more over Drig. Phil Woofit who is in fine form at the moment got his second goal of the game to make it 3 - 1. This finished off the Drig Res team.

Good performances came for everyone but a special mention to Kev, Sam S, Sam J and Albi. The team saw off the win and took 3 points.
