Colton AFC Res 7 - 1 Thornesians Reserves (09.10.19)

It was a perfect day for football and we saw Colton dominate Thornesians for almost all of the game. Once the opening goal was scored by Sam Stephens it was actually looking like a case of how many will we score today?

A foul on Phil Woofit in the box gave us a penalty which Dave Melnyzcuk coolly slotted home and he added to his tally again to score his second. Another penalty saw Aidy step up to make it 4.

It was a very good strike from the edge of the box which saw Thornesians get on back just before half time. Coltons other 3 goals were scored by Connor Brown, Phil Woofit and Nathan Rangeley.

The game was clearly dominated by Colton and it was a well deserved win.
