5 goals for a 5 star performance. Coming into any new season is always a challenge, add a few new players into the mix and you dont really know what will happen, but its fair to say that all the hard work in the pre-season paid off in the opening game. The playing surface was beautiful, flat and wide a credit to club. Leeds City were strong and played well but Colton had the edge throughout and were passing the ball well creating chances and finishing to get the goals they deserved. It is only the first game but this could be a sign of things to come and an energy passed throughout the club itself. Colton now need to continue the dream start and prove that this year they are a solid contender for the title.
