Shire Academics III 5 - 4 Colton AFC Res (09.03.19)

It was very much a game of 2 halves this week. Colton playing with the wind went 0-2 up at half time with goals from Kev and Phil. It was bitter sweet as we felt we should have been 0 - 4 up but it was not to be and these missed chances came back to haunt us.

The second half saw Shire go 4-2 up as Colton seemingly stopped playing simple football. They rallied with a penalty which Trevor converted to make it 4-3. Shire again scored as Colton pressed 5 - 3. Colton battled to the end and Trevor got another, the game finished 5 - 4.
