St Bedes Res 2 - 8 Colton AFC Res

At last Colton AFC Res get the result that's been coming for a few weeks. It was a great game and an 2-8 win to be proud of.

Joel England opened the scoring with a left foot from outside the box within the first 10 minutes, the perfect start.

The good times kept coming as an own goal was scored and further goals from Albi and Lee made it 0-4 to the visitors. The lads jogging in 0-4 up at half time.

A clean sheet then became a priority for the Reserves and additional goals from Lee and Joe pushed the visitors to 0-6! Although a positive result the clean sheet never game, as St Bedes pushed on hitting back with 2 goals of their own.

It was all too late when Phil came on from the bench to score a brace of well taken goals. Final score 2-8 a sterling performance from the Reserve team, one which just shows how well the reserves are developing and the hard work they are putting in at training and on the pitch.
